Carnal Alchemy: A Sado-Magical Exploration of Pleasure, Pain and Self-Transformation (First Edition) -Crystal Dawn and Stephen Flowers.
Rûna-Raven Press, 2002.

This text re-introduces a powerful philosophy and magical technology to the contemporary world of western sexual magic. Sadomasochistic sexuality is among the least understood aspects of sexual expression. It is tinged with overtones of the mysterious and forbidden - these things, as well as physiological facts about it - make it a powerful form of sexuality to be combined with spiritual or magical aims.

Fire & Ice - S. Edred Flowers.
Llewellyn Publications, 1990.

The Brotherhood of Saturn is one of Germany's most secret occult lodges and almost completely unknown to magicians of the English-speaking world.

The Master of the Lodge was Gregor A. Gregorius, holder of the 33 degrees of initiation and leader of the Brotherhood until his death in the early sixties. He guided his followers through years of suppression and banishment, all the time struggling mightily with dissension and conflict from within the lodge.

The secret rites of the Saturnian Lodge were kept secret until a chance occurance led to their publication in Germany. Now revealed for the first time in any language are the Ritual Mass of the Festival Lodge, the erotic Five-M Rite for male and female magicians, and the notorious Gradus Pentalpha, one of the most shocking sex-magical rites ever to be published.

Green Rûna - Edred Thorsson.
Rûna-Raven Press. 1996. (2nd improved edition).

From the late 1970s to the early 1980s Edred Thorsson produced a significant volume of material which was produced in rather obscure Ásatrú or Odinist journals such as The Runestone in the USA and The Raven Banner in England. Additionally, Edred's own then fledgling Rune-Gild published a number of shorter works. All of these would have ended up virtually "lost" if they had not been collected and edited for presentation in this volume.

Also includes a biography of Edred Thorsson by James Chisholm.

Runes and Magic: Magical Formulaic Elements in the Older Runic Tradition - Stephen E. Flowers.

Peter Lang, 1986.

"From the beginnings of the scientific study of runes, questions concerning their magical nature have been raised. In this book Stephen Flowers puts this question in the context of current theories of magic for the first time. He approaches the problem of runes and their connection to magical thinking from a structural standpoint based on linguistic models of communication. Certain formulas are isolated and analysed as to the possible ways in which they could be considered "magical" within the context of general conceptions of magic in archaic Germanic culture.

Flowers' analysis of the runic evidence from the perspective of current theories of magic and the history of writing systems brings us a good measure closer to a comprehensive answer to the riddle of the runes."

This is the published form of Stephen Flowers' PhD.

The Nine Doors of Midgard: A Complete Curriculum of Rune Magic - Edred Thorsson
Llewellyn Publications, 1991.

"The "Nine Doors of Midgard" are the gateways to self-transformation through the runes. This is the complete course of study and practice which has been successfully been in use inside the Rune-Gild for ten years. Now it is being made available to the public for the first time.

The runic tradition represents a whole school of magic with the potential of becoming the equal of the Hermetic or Cabalistic tradition. This runic tradition is the northern or Teutonic equivalent of the Hermetic tradition of the south. The Nine Doors of Midgard is the only manual to take a systematic approach to initiation into runic practices.

Through nine "lessons" or stages in a graded curriculum. The Nine Doors of Midgard takes you, the rune student, from a stage in which no previous knowledge of runes or esoteric work is assumed to a fairly advanced stage of initiation, making you eligable for acceptance into the Rune-Gild as a runic journeyman.

In addition, you will receive complete instructions in runic yoga, meditation, talismanic magic, runic incantations, runecasting and more, along with a complete reading course in outside material."
